Open work poncho- trial

New work in progress is an openwork poncho inspired by Liz at Her poncho was so pretty but she was correct when she mentioned that it is difficult crocheting with a large hook with finer yarn. I chose Deborah Norville Serenity Garden Yarn which is a "2" weight.

I am not sure how this will turn out but will keep you posted!
Speaking of keeping you posted- is there anybody reading? I havenever had any comments so not sure and no followers as of yet!  Let me know!

Summer days and birthdays!

It has been several weeks since my last post. It was a busy month of May- work "stuff", my son's college graduation and my almost 50 party!  So little time for crafting and and working on getting healthier!  Friday was the real "50" day and I must say that I really don't feel older!
These are a few photos of the celebrations!

These are my children and bestest friend Connie.

This is my son after his University Honors Convocation!

I look forward to getting many projects around the house and taking better care of me.  And more posting!

Thanks for stopping by!
