More crafts for travels!

I saw the leftover fabric and I had extra time. So what to make? I have always wanted a curling iron cover. So I took my curling iron down to my sewing area and measured it up. I wondered what what going to work better etc and finally made a decision.
Then I had a little more leftover so I took my cellphone and measured the fabric up and made a little pouch for it to take when I don't want to carry a large purse. So here they area:

And this is all the fabric I had left:

So now I am truly ready for a little trip!

Travels for crafts and crafts for travels

When we travel, I crochet to not worry about my significant others's race car skills. So I have finished some slippers to donate. And I have a baby blanket in progress and a mermaid tail for a photo prop. But I will be traveling more so this took precedence:

Now I am all ready to go! Vera Bradley has nothing on my .... Except maybe neater stitchery!
Happy June 24!

Hearts for a pretty newborn!

I have been dabbling with crochet since the big blanket project. Which by the way some of the cranberry came out with using shout color catchers. I finally sent it to my son (he flew in for graduation) so hoping he likes it.

I made this for my God daughter's newborn baby girl! Yet to be blocked but it turned out fairly well. As I say with a lot of my work, you can only tell it is homemade if there are tiny errors!
Now on to my new projects!
What is in your crochet basket this summer?
Happy crocheting!
Norma

I had to add this photo. Somewhere in there is my son! Yes, he did like it!
