It is done!

I get a little jealous sometimes when I see how fast some whip out projects! Not me! I take time! I have to admit though I am so proud of this. I only wish that the camera could capture it better!
It will be given this weekend and I cannot wait.  I will have to share the story after I give it away!

Don't you just love the pink ranger on the floor!!

  1. I love this type of blanket. It's on my to-do list and I'm looking forward to it. We all knit at our own pace. I definitely knit more in the winter where there are fewer distractions.

  2. Thanks Una! It was easy except for weaving in all the ends!

  3. Oh....Norma Jean, I'm so sorry. If you didn't dry it in the dryer, it might not yet be set. I would wash again.......cold water, delicate cycle and lay out to dry. The first thing that comes to mind. Will check around and see what I might learn to help you. Can you post a picture? How old is your son? Graduation HS vs college........could make a difference in the possible fix.

That was the answer on my blog. Must admit I've had a couple of glasses of wine. Then...dah...go to her blog and so I am here. What kind of yarn did you use?

    1. I used I lie this yarn. I did not dry it in the dryer. It is air drying. My son is flying in from California to Pittsburgh for his Masters grad ceremony! I will have to ship it anyway so I will bring it back home to try the soaks.
